Expertise

Thibaut specialises in aviation and space disaster management, insurance, reinsurance, marine and commercial law at Gates and Partners Paris office. He handled various disaster such as the Concorde accident or the Nantucket “Egyptair” accident; but also the “Amoco Cadiz” oil spill off the coast of France where he represented the French government. He has been involved in numerous arbitrations including space arbitration in France. He supervised over the years, tens of aviation and space claims as General counsel of one of the world major aviation and space insurer. He also worked on several project such as the construction of an airport in the Middle East. He had been appointed as mediator in numerous cargo claim cases.
