Expertise
Since qualifying, John has acted for airlines, general and regional aviation operators, airports and the wider aviation industry and their insurers around the world, but with particular emphasis in the UK, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. He has extensive experience handling and managing the simplest to the most complex aviation claims in mediation, arbitration and litigation, ranging from sport aviation injuries sustained in ballooning, parachuting, hang gliding and paragliding accidents to major losses involving a diverse range of personal injuries, catastrophic permanent damage or fatality and commercial litigation. He has led the successful defence of airlines and aviation clients in multiple foreign jurisdictions as well as in the courts of the United States.

Subjects have included: International Carriage by Air and the Warsaw/Montreal Convention, Surface Damage and the Rome Convention, Personal Injury Litigation in the UK and Europe, Dealing with the Media, the English Legal System and Aviation Law in the Caribbean .
Interests
John is interested in architecture and family history, is a keen gardener and has had a love of aviation since childhood.
