Dr. George Leloudas

Expertise

George is currently a lecturer at the Institute of International Shipping Law and International Trade (ISTL) of Swansea University and he advises on aviation insurance, liability, regulatory and multimodal transport issues. He has hands-on experience with the ongoing disaster management of the Helios Airways Boeing 737 crash outside of Athens, Greece in August 2005. George acted as an assistant to the legal counsel of the International Union of Aviation Insurers (IUAI) providing support in relation to the replacement of the Rome Convention on Surface Damage.

    Interests

    George has a degree in classical guitar, and plays in solo recitals as well as in chamber music ensembles. For a change of pace, he enjoys soccer, basketball and squash.
