Expertise
Dan has developed a strong business-oriented aviation practice, with particular expertise in airline start-ups. Additionally, he advises on a wide range of aerospace insurance-related work, as well as claims handling and disaster management. He has been appointed lead counsel for a prominent Asian carrier to advise on all legal issues arising from their establishment of a UK regional crew and operations base. This includes employment and immigration issues. He has been implementing an innovative strategy for a major European airline and its insurers to resolve litigation “trapped” in the Indian court system which has led to the resolution of the overwhelming majority of cases, some more than 25 years old. Over the years, Dan has developed an extensive practice in Israel and India; as well as in Asia and the Middle East.
