Expertise:
Paul specialises in aviation disaster management, insurance, claims handling, regulatory issues, document drafting and alternative dispute resolution. Having lived and worked in Asia and Australia for some sixteen years, Paul played a significant role there in the strategic and tactical management of large-scale casualty claims for various airlines and their insurers. Arising out of number of high profile cases, Paul has handled a variety of legal matters, many on a multi-jurisdictional basis. In respect of the management of disasters, Paul has liaised with the media, families of victims, and other lawyers and senior executives of client airlines and underwriters. Paul also advises on aviation regulatory issues; airline start-ups; passenger, baggage and cargo claims; ticketing and air waybill matters; and space and satellite law. Paul is a qualified arbitrator, mediator and private pilot.
