Expertise:
Based in our Singapore office, Peter specialises in major aviation loss and liability matters including cargo, passenger personal injury and third-party liability claims involving multi-jurisdictional litigation.  Peter has worked on a number of major losses including Air China Busan, China Northern Airlines Dalian, Air Phillippines Davao and the Garuda Solo losses.  Many of these losses have involved contentious litigation in the U.S.  In addition, Peter has handled numerous losses for regional carriers and operators spanning an area from Papua to India.

Prior to relocating to Singapore, Peter was the General Manager of Enforcement and Investigation at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, Australia with broad responsibilities for all regulatory and criminal prosecution action, administration of the nation's passenger liability insurance scheme and financial safety operator audits.  He was a member of the Authority's Executive Safety Committee and was closely involved in the nation's fuel contamination crisis and the investigation of the Qantas QF001 overrun at Bangkok.  He is also a qualified systems safety suditor, and holds fixed and rotary wing pilots licenses.
