Matthew has wide-ranging experience in corporate finance and commercial law. He trained and qualified with the London office of Eversheds LLP and spent six years in the corporate department, where he advised a diverse range of publicly-quoted and privately-owned corporations on takeovers, flotations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, joint ventures and restructurings. He possesses expertise in both domestic and cross-border transactions. Whilst with Eversheds, Matthew was seconded to the trade association representing the privatised electricity companies and also to the private banking arm of a leading international financial institution.
