| Expertise: Aileen is currently based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is experienced in a variety of aviation legal matters, with a particular emphasis on Latin American cases. Having had direct involvement in disaster management, Aileen has hands-on experience in working with families of victims, lawyers, insurers and senior executives of client airlines within a multicultural setting. Aileen is currently working on the Gol Airlines Boeing 737-800 loss which occurred in Brazil in 2006. She has also handled multi-state litigation and multi-district discoveries concerning commercial and personal injury claims arising in Latin America, Europe and the United States. Aileen advises on Latin American torts law and damages, and general practice within the context of aviation insurance. Drawing upon her Spanish/English bilingual ability and mediating qualifications, Aileen has acted as mediator and negotiator and has drafted bilingual, multi-district agreements. Her capability as a strategic thinker led to the successful implementatioin of the first structured settlement in Argentina.
