The team has an extensive and wide range of experience from acting within large multi-national law firms and medium-sized niche practices to working in offshore jurisdictions and leading teams of lawyers within a venture capital/private equity investment company/other in-house roles.
The team prides itself on its enthusiasm, drive and commercial outlook, retaining a strong and up-to-date understanding of principles involved in its areas of expertise. Use is often made of the extensive associations retained by the firm to provide specialist support in areas such as tax (corporate and individual), EU and competition law, and property. These external advisors continue to be used because of their level of commitment and ability to seamlessly integrate with the Gates and Partners commercial team.
